Niagara Falls, NY: On December 15th, 2012 the Niagara Falls Music and Art Festival had an Art and Music Preview Party, hosted by the Icehouse on Third Street in the city’s up and coming nightspot district. Organizers said big changes are in the works for the 2013 Festival and they were excited to offer a preview party as well as release the Niagara Falls Hotties Calendar that has been created as a fund raiser for the festival.
The 2013 festival is growing exponentially with an exciting change in venue to beautifully renovated Old Falls Street. The Art and Music Festival is part of an initiative to showcase all the talent in the Niagara region featuring visual and performing arts in Niagara Falls, as well as to really establish the Cataract City as an arts destination. The festival will take place on June 28th – 30th 2013, but you don’t have to wait for the fun!
On Saturday, December 15th the public was invited to a Meet the Artist open house from 5-7pm at The Icehouse on Third Street. There was complimentary wine tasting, live acoustic music and exhibited artworks by local photographer Richard Hogan and NACC Resident Painter, Gus Posey.
Of course our fine city has more than its share of beautiful people, and now our local Hotties are featured in a 2013 calendar which will be released at 7pm at the event. Some of the calendar models will be on hand for autographs and photo opportunities. The proceeds from this exciting calendar will directly support the costs of bringing this exceptional art and music festival to Niagara Falls next summer.
Shortly after the calendar release, the party begins rocking thanks to local bands including Fourth Wall, Scarlet Embrace in what is annually dubbed the “Cousins Reunion” in honor of organizer Rick Crogan’s family business, Cousins Bar that was located on Main Street for many years.
With so much talent under one roof, city residents and visitors will be sure to experience a holiday bash unlike any other this season! A $5 cover charge begins at 7pm, however; the first ten Santa’s (of any gender), will get in the door for free in their Santa costume.
