The Main Street Music and Art Festival now has a new name and a new home.
The festival has been renamed the Niagara Falls Music and Art Festival and will be held at Old Falls Boulevard the last weekend of June. The festival will have at least 60 artists displaying and selling their work.
Thursday, organizers announced more than ten bands playing on three stages.
The following Monday is Canada Day and festival organizers hope to have a strong showing by Canadian visitors.
“It’s a weekend of fun, it’s heads in beds, it’s money towards the city, it’s jobs that we create for the kids,” said festival chairman Rick Crogan.
Organizers say they’re excited to have two-time Hard Rock Cafe Battle Series winner, Whiskey Reverb, playing on Saturday.
